TAKE ACTION: SWITCH OFF THE LIGHTS OF THE EIFFEL TOWER
Thank you for taking part in Earth Hour 2020! People of 190 countries around the world took part digitally and at home in solidarity with people and our planet. Let's continue to raise our voices for nature! Turn off the Eiffel Tower lights. #Connect2Earth
For more than 10 years, Earth Hour has been the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment, organised by WWF for the protection of the planet. You can take action today and switch off the lights of the Eiffel Tower.
Each person can switch off one light, so we need a collective effort to turn off the entire Eiffel Tower. This is how to do so:
Click on "Participate"
Zoom on the part of the Eiffel Tower you are interested in
Choose your light bulb
Login with Facebook, Twitter or your email
Switch off your light bulb
Shine a light on your action by inviting your friends to participate by clicking on Share.
Your light is numbered and named after you. You can find it back by clicking on "My light".
Every year, we countdown together across the globe to celebrate Earth Hour and take one iconic action: switch off the lights. But it is so much more than that. It is a symbol of unity. It is a symbol of hope. It is a symbol of power in collective action for nature.
Watch how millions of people around the world took part in Earth Hour 2020 :
